Where does the experience start?

All experiences start in the selected region or area you chose at the time of booking. Once you solve your first clue you will be given the address of your first stop of the day. Your start time is when we generally recommend arriving at your first location.

What if I don't live close to where the picnic is?

We operate in over 40 cities around the world and offer 100s of experiences across different regions! Ensure you’ve selected your closest city on the home page by selecting the city drop down menu.

Once you’re booked in, we recommend solving your first clue the night before your experience to find your first location and plan how to get there.

Can I bring a dog on my picnic?

Some of our routes may be suitable for furry friends, but not all. Simply let us know which routes you're interested in and our friendly team can advise!

Can I start the picnic whenever I like?

Your confirmation email and clue set will advise what time we recommend starting your experience. Please stick as closely as you can to this time - this will ensure you have plenty of time to do your experience before shops shut and so the small businesses we work with don't get too busy at any given time.

My dietary requirement isn't listed - can I still do it?

We can cater to standard, vegetarian, gluten free, vegan and pregnancy diets. Any other requests can be entered at the time of booking, and are subject to availability depending on our providers. We’ll do our best to cater for you and may contact you to ask for more detail or recommend a particular route that caters particularly well to your indicated dietary.

Will my baby or toddler need to be included in the picnic?

You don't need to include any small children you're bringing your own food for. Any children aged 12 and below that will be taking part will need to be included as a 'child' within the booking, anyone over the age of 12 should be included as an adult.

Can I reschedule/cancel if it's raining or something comes up?

We have a 3 business day policy for any changes or cancellations. We recommend keeping an eye on the weather the week of your picnic!

What measures are you taking to protect from Coronavirus?

At present, we are not handing out any reusable equipment, so we advise everyone brings along their own bag, cooler, plates, cups and cutlery. Many of our providers will also have their own restrictions in place, for example limits to numbers of people in their store at one time. In some regions - according to government guidelines - the end location may be outside rather than inside, where it may previously have been.
