Time’s Up

  • Setup for groups of 4-8
Each person writes on a piece of paper a famous person, an animal, an object, a country and a food item (one paper per word) - feel free to add more categories! Gather the papers in a container. Split in two teams and set a timer to 30 seconds.

    How to play?
Take it in turns to have one person from Team A make the rest of the team guess the papers they pick out from the container one after the other for 30 seconds. There’s only one pass per player. Then Team B takes over. Both teams play their 30-second turns until they run out of time or papers, then totals are written down and the same papers are put back in the contained and used for the next round.

    • Round 1: you can use unlimited words to make other people guess

    • Round 2: you can only use one word

    • Round 3: mime only!
